Our Vision
Veterans for Veterans AmericA, Inc., is a not-for-profit organization that was founded in November 2008 and provides transitional housing and access to support services for homeless Veterans from a minimum of 6 months to a maximum of 24 months . This organization was the constructive vision of three disabled Veterans who have combined 60-plus years of organizational leadership and military experience. These disabled Veterans have developed a transitional housing program based on the foundation of any cohesive unit of operation… order and discipline with rules and regulatory requirements. This proven process will restore the dignity and respect of such veterans. This unique type of transitional housing program will become a model program for former homeless Veterans who seek a return to self-sustainability and an independent living status.
Our Mission
Veterans for Veterans AmericA, Inc., is founded by Veterans who are inspired by a strong belief in the restoration and recovery of veterans who have been homeless and their individual reinstatement to self-sustainability and independent living.
We are committed to providing homeless Veterans with transitional housing and access to supportive services to promote their healing, growth and self-sufficiency.
Our overarching mission is to eliminate homelessness amongst our Veterans with a dual focus on preemptive programs that allow help organizations to proactively engage the issues that cause Veterans to become homeless before it becomes a problem.
Our Commitment
Veterans for Veterans AmericA, Inc., is committed to providing the following service support programs, HOME Management/Maintenance Training, Job Skills Training, Life Skills Training, Financial Management Skills Training, Education Development Skills Training, Employment Assistance and Assistance in Locating Permanent Housing.
We are partnered with information sources and support links to the Veterans Administration, local Veterans of Foreign Wars organizations, local Disabled American Veterans organizations and other organizations that assist Veterans.
We are dedicated to restoring former homeless Veterans to a state of self-sustainability and to ensure support and assistance for all Veterans that qualify for the Veterans Administration respective programs.”
