Gratitude and the Brain – EMERGE Family Therapy Center & Teaching Clinic
January 6 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm EST$10 – $20
About this event
This workshop is how gratitude affects the brain. There are many mental health benefits to those who show gratitude. As we enjoy the many seasons of life, gratitude can fall by the wayside. When we understand the benefits of gratitude, we can see why putting gratitude first can help us reach a better state emotionally.
Participants will be able to:
- Learn reasons gratitude benefits well-being
- Understand what part of the brain activates when expressing gratitude
- Learn ways to incorporate gratitude in session
