Understanding Systemic Issues with Military Families

Join Jasmine and Alexis to learn about popular systemic and mental health issues within military families.

About this event

Coming from a military family comes with a level of systemic challenges of its own, on top of those that come with any family system. Military families can be a group for therapists that are not always regularly experienced and for therapists without military history in their own families, working with this population may seem daunting. In this presentation we will discuss popular systemic issues in military families and challenges that come with those issues as well as mental health/ trauma issues and how to implement this knowledge from a systemic lens.
