Tuesday, December 21, 2010 – The South Bay’s only public institution of higher education has launched a new program designed to help local businesses owned by service-disabled veterans better compete for government contracts.

The free program of 12 courses offered through Chula Vista-based Southwestern College is intended to help veteran-owned businesses compete for federal projects and improve their performance once contracts are awarded.
