Learn the basics of Generative AI in a hands-on course tailored for veterans, military personnel, and their spouses.

About this event

  • Ages 18+

Unlock the potential of Generative AI in this hands-on course specifically designed for the military community! The Veterans Forge Foundations in Generative AI Course is ideal for Military Active Duty (and spouses) and Military Veterans (and spouses) interested in learning the fundamentals of artificial intelligence and its applications.

Location: Bluemont Room

What to Expect:

  • Foundational Knowledge: Dive into the basics of Generative AI and its real-world uses in text, images, and more.
  • Hands-On Learning: Immerse yourself in practical labs and projects, actively exploring AI tools and technologies. No prior experience in AI or coding is needed.
  • BYOL (Bring Your own Laptop): Participants must bring a laptop that can connect to wifi to participate fully in the course. Software installation instructions will be provided before the event.

  • The course will take place at a veteran-friendly location with full wheelchair accessibility, ensuring everyone can participate comfortably. If you require additional accessibility support, please reach out to us in advance.
  • On-site parking is available, and public transportation options are nearby.
