🇺🇸 Anniversary of V-J Day — August 14, 1945
On this day in 1945, Americans received the long-awaited news that Japan had accepted the Allied terms of surrender. Celebrations erupted across the nation as Americans realized that, after years of tremendous sacrifice, World War II was finally coming to an end.
