ActivAge Announces Veteran Benefits Educational Workshop
We are excited to invite you to an educational workshop on Veterans Benefits, hosted by ActivAge Sarasota on Tuesday, January 9, from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM.
This workshop is designed to provide valuable insights into the benefits and services available to veterans, their families, and caregivers through the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). Topics covered will include:
- VA Aid and Attendance: Learn about eligibility and how these benefits can help with the cost of care.
- Veterans Compensation: Get guidance on the process and eligibility for filing disability compensation.
- Pension Benefits: Understand the different types of VA pensions available and the criteria to qualify.
- Burial Benefits: Discover the memorial benefits and services available to veterans and their families.
- Dependent and Surviving Spouse Benefits: Explore the support available for surviving spouses and dependents.
