Patton Veterans Project 'I Was There' Film Screening

Patton Veterans Project Hosts ‘I Was Their Film Workshop’ at Colorado State University: Film Screening Event Highlights Veterans Stories

About this event

The Patton Veterans Project (PVP) is hosting a community-wide screening to premiere short films created by area veterans at its vet film workshop last month at The University of Wyoming. At the workshops, servicemen and women work together to make short films about meaningful service experiences. The free screening, which is open to all, will be followed by a meet-and-greet reception for the filmmakers and guests.

Thu, Sep 12th @ 6PM — CSU Ft. Collins, CO.

FREE & OPEN TO ALL.

Free Parking – See map below.

  • Led by Benjamin Patton (grandson of WWII’s General George S. Patton, Jr.) and a team of professional film instructors, PVP’s free 3-day I Was Their Film Workshops help veterans learn the art of filmmaking while working with fellow vets and, through these screenings, help veterans, military families and community members connect and better understand each other.
  • PVP will be hosting monthly collaborative film workshops at colleges across Wyoming and Northern Colorado throughout the year. Interested vets may register at pattonveteransproject.org, by calling (970) 657-5500 or via email at workshops@pattonveteransproject.org.
