While you’re out barbecuing with family and friends this Labor Day Weekend…

labor day 2015

Labor Day is a U.S. federal holiday observed on the 1st Monday in Sept, that celebrates the economic and social contributions of workers. It was first nationally recognized in 1894 to placate unionists following the Pullman Strike. With the decline in union membership, the holiday is generally viewed as a time for BBQs and the end of summer vacations.

While you’re out barbecuing with family and friends this Labor Day Weekend, please take time to remember our brave men and women of the United States Armed Forces stationed abroad who work tirelessly to keep the United States the land of the free and the home of the brave!
