Synopsis: The Cincinnati VAMC has a requirement for Project titled, “Relocate Trailer for Sleep Lab” per the drawing and specifications. This opportunity is available only to contractors under public law 109-461 and 38 USC 8127. This acquisition will be solicited pursuant to the Veterans’ First Public Law 109-461 as a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business Set-Aside. The S.D.V.O.S.B. contractor is required to perform a minimum of 25% of the construction work on the project. This does not include paperwork, submittals, etc. Additionally, this acquisition will be conducted in accordance with FAR 14.408-1(a) (3), to that responsible bidder whose bid, conforming to the invitation, will be most advantageous to the Government, considering only price and the price-related factors.

A Firm-Fixed Price Construction Contract is anticipated to be awarded. Contractor shall completely prepare the site for building operations, including demolition and removal of existing structures, general construction, alterations, mechanical and electrical work and to furnish labor, management, transportation materials and equipment necessary to accomplish the work indicated on the contract drawings as stated in the specifications or reasonable implied at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center, 3200 Vine Street, Cincinnati, Ohio 45220.

INTERESTED PARTIES ARE STRONGLY ENCOURAGED TO REGISTER TO RECEIVE NOTIFICATION OF ACTIONS INCLUDING POSTING OF THE SOLICITATION AND ANY AMENDMENTS. HOWEVER, OFFERORS ARE ADVISED TO CHECK THE SIGHT FREQUENTLY, AS THEY ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR OBTAINING AMENDMENTS.

BASE BID ALL WORK: Relocate Trailer for Sleep Lab. Work will include all labor, materials, equipment and supervision required to complete “Relocate Trailer for Sleep Lab” at the Department of Veterans Affairs, 3200 Vine Street, Cincinnati, Ohio 45220. The project encompasses the design/build for relocation and interior demolition/remodeling of a seventy-two foot long, twenty-four foot doublewide trailer on the Cincinnati campus. All phases of work shall be complete within 120 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed.
