THIS SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE IS FOR INFORMATION AND PLANNING PURPOSES ONLY. The Government is seeking industry input from all sources to determine if this acquisition should be procured as a Total Small Business set-aside under the auspices of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 19.5. Interested Small Business concerns are highly encouraged to respond to this request. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this effort is 517919, however the government is requesting that you provide other potential NAICS codes that should be considered. Interested parties must be registered in the System for Award Management (www.sam.gov).
Air Combat Command, Acquisition Management and Integration Center (ACC AMIC), Joint Base Langley-Eustis AFB VA, is in the process of determining the acquisition strategy to obtain non-personal services necessary to provide program management, operations and maintenance, and mission support for the Counterdrug Surveillance System (CDSS) program. The mission objective is to provide air and maritime surveillance, communications, and command and control support for United States (US) and Partner Nations’ counterdrug efforts. CDSS provides surveillance supporting US and PNs’ common operating pictures. CDSS also supports air sovereignty, search and rescue, and regional cooperation mission sets. The contractor shall provide all management, personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and support necessary to perform services as defined in the attached draft Performance Work Statement (PWS) dated 2 Aug 2019.
The anticipated period of performance is five (5) years – base year plus four (4) option years. An optional 6 month extension at the conclusion of that period will also be priced. ACC AMIC is conducting market research in an attempt to promote full and open competition to the maximum extent practicable, and to define our requirements in performance based terms. This nootice is for Market Research purposes only and is not a request for proposal, nor does it restrict the Government as to the final acquisiton strategy. A determination regarding the set aside status for this effort has not been made. Potential offerors may comment on this requirement, or recommend application and tailoring of requirement documents or alternative approaches, by contacting the AMIC representatives listed below.
