The 9 July Road Rally is a short course that takes you to overstate, Farm-to-Market, and county roads around central Texas. Although these roads are paved, some were paved a long time ago. Our final destination will be the Alamo Café at 107 Alamo Road, Fredericksburg where we can discuss cars, bats, and the history of Texas in more detail. There is a planned stop at Luckenbach where you can enjoy being someone and where you can buy a trinket to discuss at the Alamo Cafe. The stop at the Alamo Café should allow us to see the multitudes of Mexican Free Tail and Mouse Eared Bats come out of the Old RR Tunnel at sunset.
This event is open to the general public who can register on-site and pay the entry nominal entry fee.
