A Snowmobile Ride for Jesse
On Thursday, October 28, 2021, Staff Sergeant Jesse Sherrill was killed in the line of duty when his cruiser was struck from behind on I-95 in Portsmouth. In memory of Jesse, and to honor him by doing something he enjoyed, a memorial snowmobile ride will be held in Pittsburg on Sunday, February 20th, 2022 (President’s Day long weekend). This will be a scenic, family-friendly, day-ride open to the public with food and drink to follow at the Pittsburg Ridge Runners Clubhouse. Registration is $15 per person which includes participation in the ride, a meal ticket, and an event sticker for your snowmobile or trailer. All proceeds will go to the Sherrill family or to the North Country charity of their choosing.
