Nashville Veteran’s Hiring Event Scheduled for January 2013
Starting in Nashville, TN on January 24, 2013, the military-to-civilian recruitment firm RecruitMilitary will produce at least 65 hiring events for military veterans all across the U.S.
The first event on their 2013 schedule takes place at LP Field, home of the Tennessee Titans, in Nashville on Thursday, January 24, 2013. The event begins at 11 a.m. and runs until 3 p.m. RecruitMilitary expects more than 30 employers, franchisors, educational institutions, and government agencies to reserve exhibitor booths at the Nashville Expo.
HCA Healthcare will sponsor the Nashville event. The company consists of locally managed facilities that include about 163 hospitals and 110 freestanding surgery centers in 20 states and England. The company is based in Nashville and employs approximately 199,000 people.
The Nashville Expo also is produced in cooperation with The American Legion, an association of veterans who served during times of war. The Legion has 2.4 million members in nearly 14,000 posts throughout the world.
Veterans who already have civilian work experience, men and women who are transitioning from active duty to civilian life, members of the National Guard and reserves, military spouses, and other military family members are invited to the RecruitMilitary event.
RecruitMilitary has scheduled 65 additional veteran hiring events for 2013.
In November 2011, RecruitMilitary received the Lee Anderson Small Business Veteran and Military Spouse Employment Award from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. In February 2012, RecruitMilitary received the One More Way Award from The Sierra Group Foundation.
