About this Event
This is the 5th Annual Small Business workshop for small business owners in and around Knoxville. Every business owner is welcome and will find applicable takeaways! This year it is one day with three general sessions, two break out sessions, 7 speakers, 8 topics, a delicious breakfast and lunch provided by Cafe 4, and a designated time slot design just for networking.
Every year I ask for feedback from the attendees on how to make it better and I believe this year is going to be the best yet!! We are in a space that will accomodate more attendees with a designated time to network with each other to expand your business recognition and referral network. There will be more time for the bookkeeping and tax side of your business and break out sessions for you to choose the topics that are most appropriate for you and your business!
Every single speaker is an incredible business owner and I am honored for them to be a part of the AMP business workshop!
Here is the schedule for this year’s event:
8:00-8:30 am Check In
8:30-10:30 am General Session: Taxes & Bookkeeping w/ Amanda May Photos- Renewed! This year I’m changing my approach on how I’m teaching on this to help make it more understandable and applicable to you and your small business!
11am-12pm Break Out sessions w/ Erin Morrison – Pinterest Like a Pro, Brittany Sidwell – Selfcare, and Suzy Collins – Control your Socials before they control you!
12pm – 1pm Lunch – Catered by Cafe 4
1pm – 2:30pm General Session: The Money Method w/ Brittany Conner
2:45pm – 4:00pm General Session: Nancy Barger – Perservering the Slumps of Business Owning
4:30pm-5:30pm Break Out sessions w/ Amanda May – In Person Sales (mainly for photographers) and Leah Nicole – Taking the Leap by Going full time
5:30pm-7:00pm Special socializing and networking time with each other! To be continued at dinner downtown with each other
