For more than a century, the Union League Club of Chicago has convened leaders at moments when the nation demanded both resolve and imagination. Building America’s Future: Veterans, Infrastructure, and the Next Mission carries that tradition forward, bringing together veterans, business leaders, nonprofits, and civic partners to confront one of the defining challenges of our time: rebuilding the nation’s infrastructure while unlocking the full potential of those who once defended it.
This engaging evening program assembles a distinguished panel of leaders from construction, engineering, manufacturing, logistics, and veteran-focused organizations, guided by moderator Erik Cempel, for a focused conversation on how military experience translates into civilian leadership, workforce readiness, and national renewal. The panel is set. The mission is clear.
Guests will enjoy hors d’oeuvres, a signature and cash bar, and the opportunity to engage directly with 13–15 carefully selected exhibitors showcasing veteran talent, nonprofit services, and pathways from service to industry.
