Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day in McKinney at the 6th Annual McKinney Shamrock Run 5K! Let the shenanigans begin!
🍀The McKinney Shamrock Run 5K Presented by HOTWORX kicks off at TUPPS Brewery at 9:00 am! Put on your GREEN and race to the finish line where you’ll receive your lucky finishers medal!
🍀Early bird registration for the Shamrock Run 5k is $30 and includes entry into the chip timed racecourse, Shamrock Run 5K t-shirt, custom Shamrock Run bib, and an awesome finishers medal! A portion of event proceeds supports The Warrior’s Keep! Pricing will increase to $35 on February 1st!
🍀Festivities include local vendors, delicious food, GREEN TUPPS beer, costume contests, The Auto Hail Repair Group Shamrock Photo booth, Irish music, and Irish dancing! The event is so fun, and family-friendly!
🍀 CASH prizes will be awarded to the Top Overall Males and Females during our awards ceremony presented by Prestige Community Credit Union! First Place ($100), Second Place ($50), and Third Place ($25) AND the First Place Stroller Strider ($25). PLUS awards for the top male and female finishers in the following age groups: 14 & under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60 & over! The Awards Ceremony will take place at 9:45 am. Overall Male and Female winners will receive a brand new pair of running shoes from Fleet Feet!

When is packet pickup?
Packet pickup is Tuesday, March 7th, 4:30 pm-6:30 pm, AND Wednesday, March 8th, 4:30 pm-6:30 pm at HOTWORX in McKinney! 3194 W University Dr. Suite 300, McKinney, TX 75071
Can I pick up someone else’s packet?
Yes, you can pickup packets for others. Please note that packet pickup is separated into 4 lines. A-F, G-M, N-S, T-Z If the people you are picking up for has a last name in a different line you will have to get into that line after picking up your bib. To pickup packets you need the email confirmation. (No need to print- just show us the barcode in the email.)
How early can I arrive on race day?
You can arrive as early as 7:45am. The 5K begins at 9am!
Can I bring my dog?
Unfortunately, dogs are not allowed participate in the 2023 Shamrock Run 5K.
Do children need to register?
Anyone walking/running the Shamrock Run 5k who is not being pushed in a stroller should pay the registration fee to participate.
Where do I park?
Please stay tuned. Email communication is sent out race week with instructions on where to park.
Can I volunteer?
Yes! The event needs volunteers at packet pickup! Please email us at in**@************ty.com for volunteer opportunities. We provide volunteers with free tickets to the Shamrock Run 5K for their time volunteering!
