Join us as we partner with the City of Savannah for this year’s Patriot Day Run, a 5K Memorial Run that will take place at Forsyth Park in downtown Savannah.
Event Timeline:
- 0600-0730 Registration and Packet Pick-Up Opens
- 0725 First Responders Begin Race
- 0730 Runners Begin Race
- 0735 Formations Begin Race
- 0740 Walkers Begin Race
Registration includes a custom medal, bib, shirt. Runner packets can be picked up September 6, starting at 6:00am.

- Non DOD: $45
- DOD ID Card Holder and First Responders: $35
Day Of Registration (SEP 6, shirts and medals while supplies last)

Running with a UNIT?
If you are running with your unit, please make sure to indicate which unit you are with on your registration form. Units, please have your POC contact the event coordinator to let us know your unit is running together.

- Glass containers
- Suitcases and rolling bags
- Flammable liquids, aerosols, fuels, fireworks or explosives
- Inline or quad roller skates, skateboards, or bicycles
- Pets/animals
- Vulgar or obscene flags, banners, signs, or clothing/attire
What age must purchase ticket?
Children may participate but are not require a purchased ticket. Please note: Medals/bibs/shirts will not be provided unless they have a paid registration.
Can I run without receiving a medal or shirt?
Yes! Everyone is welcome to join for race day, please note that ONLY registered runners with their bibs will receive their medal and shirt.
What things should I NOT bring?
Prohibited items List:
- Glass containers
- Vaping, tobacco and alcohol
- Bicycles, Skateboards and Rollerblades
- Suitcases and rolling bags
- Flammable liquids, aerosols, fuels, fireworks or explosives
- Inline or quad roller skates, skateboards, or bicycles
- Pets/animals
- Vulgar or obscene flags, banners, signs, or clothing/attire
What can I bring?
- Comfortable running attire and shoes
- Cell phone for amazing photo opportunities
- Sunscreen, hydration system, protection from chafing, weather appropriate jacket
Can my dog participate?
While we love our four legged friends, all animals, that are not service animals, are not permitted during this run. Sorry, I know this one hurts.
Is this a stroller-friendly race?
YES – We want to see you out there with your kiddos!
Will there be restrooms? What about water points?
There are no restrooms on the course. Restrooms can be used before and after the race in Forsyth park. We will offer multiple waterpoints along the course route.
When is Packet Pick-Up?
Packet pick up will be available the morning of the race starting at 6:00am
Can I change my race registration?

Is this a timed race?
No, there is no official timing of this race.
Is there anything to do after the race?

How do I get from parking to event site?
Use downtown Savannah garages or lots near Forsyth Park. Parking updates will be shared closer to the event.
We are looking for individuals or groups who are enthusiastic and want to cheer on the runners!
Areas we are looking for volunteers are:
- Finish area
- Packet pick up
- Water stations

Please be sure to arrive at the race location (Forsyth Park) between 6:00 am-7:30am to receive your packet.
