1st Annual Veterans Fundraising Event
Thank you for considering SOVAH as your partner in supporting veterans across the Mid-Willamette Valley.
Civilian life can be a challenge and we need your help as we give that extra support to launch and affirm our local veterans. Sometimes all they need is a little support and direction when they feel stuck or overwhelmed. As you join us financially, you are assisting us as we build community connections and support structures that can last a lifetime.
SOVAH is committed to pushing resources to the front. With an over 90% dollar to client ratio, we have become a trusted voice that ensures your donations go to the veteran. Our major initiative is an annual Stand-Down where we help veterans secure VA benefits, offering free health care, dental treatment, haircuts, pet care, education and services from a myriad of providers in the community. These efforts are critical as we guide Veterans toward programs, mentors, resources, that assist them with their journey.
Our founder was a service-disabled Veteran with years of experience, who found navigating the system was confusing and difficult. He started SOVAH to help other Veterans know they were not alone in this journey. Years later, we are still committed to serving this mission within our community, but we need your help.
