Veterans Mental Health Summit: Improving Healthcare for Aging Veterans

This event is to provide the community providers and caretakers with education on topics and resources that will benefit the aging Veteran.
The Veteran Mental Health Summit is one way in which the Battle Creek VAMC uses to strengthen our connections and to prioritize local needs of Veterans and family members. Each year we choose a different target population of Veterans to serve through the education provided to community providers and caregivers. We have seen an increase in services for our aging population of Veterans. Especially, those from the Vietnam era. The Summit will connect experts at a multidisciplinary conference on aging. A growing aging Veteran population will impact your work, presenting new obstacles, but also providing new opportunities.
