Women Veterans Event

McLeod County Veteran Services is proud to host a Women Veterans Event in the new Century Hall building on the McLeod County Fairgrounds in Hutchinson, MN.

The event will begin with light refreshments and a whole health activity. There will be speakers from the VA healthcare system, Minnesota Department of Veterans Affairs, Minnesota Association of County Veterans Service Officers, and National Association of County Veteran Services Officers. These speakers will provide information on an array of benefits specifically for female veterans.

A free lunch will be provided to all attendees. A massage therapist will also be providing mini massage sessions throughout the day.

The afternoon will conclude with an exciting floral design workshop provided through the U of M Extension, and a closing whole health activity.

The purpose of this event is to reach a veteran population that is greatly underserved. The hope is to provide and connect female veterans to the benefits they are deserving of and entitled to as well as starting a community of female veterans. The goal is to build a community beyond McLeod County into the surrounding counties- so we welcome those who live in Meeker, Sibley, Renville, Carver, and Wright County to join us on April 26th. The event will have limited space, so don’t wait to sign up!
