An Evening with Veterans

Join us for a special veteran panel held in conjunction with Vietnam Experience: 50th Anniversary of the End of the War (on view Sept. 27-Dec. 20, 2025, at Louisiana’s Old State Capitol).

This program brings together veterans to share their personal stories, challenges, and reflections, offering the younger generation a chance to hear firsthand what it means to serve. The panel will explore the human side of military service, beyond textbooks and headlines, through lived experiences, resilience, and lessons that remain relevant today.
