SAVING ABEL
Hailing from Corinth, Mississippi, Saving Abel is a Southern rock powerhouse best known for their explosive live shows and hard-hitting anthems that blend post-grunge grit with radio-ready hooks. Formed in 2004 by guitarist Jason Null and vocalist Jared Weeks, the band quickly found their signature sound-a mix of raw emotion, driving guitar riffs, and Southern swagger.
Saving Abel exploded onto the national scene with their 2008 self-titled debut album, driven by the breakout single “Addicted,” which reached #2 on the Billboard Mainstream Rock chart and #20 on the Billboard Hot 100, earning multi-platinum status. The album also delivered other charting rock staples like “18 Days” (#10 Mainstream Rock) and “Drowning (Face Down)” (#24 Mainstream Rock), cementing their reputation as a hit-making rock band.
Their 2010 follow-up album Miss America featured the powerful single “Stupid Girl (Only in Hollywood),” which climbed to #7 on the Mainstream Rock chart, while the title track “Miss America” and “The Sex Is Good” continued to build on their radio success, the latter peaking at #1 on the Active Rock chart.
Over the years, Saving Abel has toured relentlessly, sharing stages with rock heavyweights such as Nickelback, Papa Roach, Hinder, and Buckcherry. Their third studio album Bringing Down the Giant (2012) further showcased the band’s dynamic range and commitment to raw, emotionally charged rock.
Now reunited with core members and reclaiming the grit and soul that made them fan favorites, Saving Abel is back with new energy, a renewed sense of purpose, and music that stays true to their Southern rock roots. With over a decade of success, multiple charting singles, and a die-hard fan base, Saving Abel remains a defining force in modern rock.
