Wreaths Across the Grove

The Friends of the Medal of Honor Grove and Founding Forward invite the entire community to the Wreaths Across the Grove, held in unison with Wreaths Across America, dedicated to honoring all 3,528 Medal of Honor recipients. Hosted by the Friends of the Medal of Honor Grove and Founding Forward, this annual wreath-laying ceremony brings together veterans, Gold Star families, and patriotic citizens to celebrate service, sacrifice, and the enduring spirit of civic virtue.

Wreaths will be placed at all 50 state obelisks, two territory obelisks (Puerto Rico & District of Columbia), and following additional memorials – the Chaplains Memorial, Ancient Order of Hibernians Memorial, Gold Star Families Memorial, Southeast Asia KIA/MIA/POW Memorial, Circle of Trees, Armed Services Monument, Lincoln Statue, Kennedy Gazebo, Washington monuments, Founding Fathers monument, and the Chapel.

This is the perfect opportunity if you have never visited the Medal of Honor Grove. The Grove has over four miles of paved trails that wind through monuments dedicated to our most cherished heroes and is open to the public daily from dawn to dusk, weather permitting.
