Best known for classics like 12 Angry Men, The Grapes of Wrath, and On Golden Pond, Henry Fonda became one of America’s most respected actors. But before decades of cinematic success, Fonda answered the call to serve his country in the U.S. Navy during WWII.
🇺🇸 Harry Carey Jr.
Famous for his memorable roles in classic westerns alongside director John Ford and actor John Wayne, Harry Carey Jr. also served honorably in the U.S. Navy during World War II before becoming a western movie legend.
