Today is RED Friday (Remember Everyone Deployed)—a time to wear red in support of the brave men and women serving our nation around the world.
This Sunday, June 28th, marks the 21st Anniversary of Operation Red Wings, one of the most courageous and heartbreaking chapters in the history of the Global War on Terror.
On June 28, 2005, nineteen American heroes made the ultimate sacrifice while serving their country in Afghanistan. Their courage, selflessness, and unwavering commitment to one another continue to inspire generations of Americans.
This Sunday, we will honor each of the 19 heroes by name and remember the extraordinary sacrifice they made in defense of our freedom.
